DGSL participates in the Norfolk County Softball League. For the 2025 spring season, we will be fielding teams in the following age groups:
Farm (Grades 2-3)
Junior (Minors) (Grades 4-5)
Senior (Majors) (Grades 6, 7, 8)
The in-town Instructional division is for players in grades K - 1.
2025 Spring Registration Fees
The increase in fees for spring 2025 reflects the increase in costs incurred by the league (umpire fees, equipment, professional coaching for instructional, etc.)
Instructional Division - $75
*sessions twice a week throughout the month of May
Farm, Junior (Minor), and Senior (Major) Divisions - $125
(all new Minor and Major players will receive a DGSL backpack!)
**practices 1-2 times per week throughout the month of April; games twice a week/practice once a week from end of April through late May/early June
EVALUATIONS WILL BE HELD ON Sunday, March 2, 2025. Time and location TBD.
All players (new and returning) are required to participate in evaluations.
No evaluations will be held for the instructional division.
Coaches will communicate with their teams about a week after evaluations are held.

Please note: All Minor and Major players will be placed on a team in their respective division. The Farm division is loosely built for girls in 2nd and 3rd grade. However, based on the evaluation, it is possible that a 2nd or 3rd grader will not be placed on a farm team and will be placed in the instructional division to gain more experience. It is also possible that a 3rd grader who demonstrates advanced skill may be placed on a Minor team.
