2009 Spring Season Registration
If you wish to register a player , click here for Registration Form; please complete one form for each player. Please provide us with a copy of a birth certificate and please sign all forms.
ASA Age Eligibility:
Dedham Girls Softball League adheres to the rules of the American Softball Association (ASA). The ASA eligibility age for your child is determined on January 1, 2009. Her age on January 1, 2009 determines in which DGSL division she will play. The age of your child when the season opens does not matter.
14U Division [We are no longer accepting registrations for 14U league]
10U Division If your child was 9 or 10 years old on 1/1/09, she will play in 10U Division.
8U Division If your child was 7 or 8 years old on 1/1/09, she will play in 8U Division.
5&6 Division If your child was 5 or 6 years old on 1/1/09, she will play in 5&6 Division.
E-Mail Correspondence: As many of the coaches and DGSL representatives correspond via e-mail, please provide an e-mail address that you use regularly.
Registration Fees:
14U $75.00 per player10U $75.00 per player8U $40.00 per player5/6 $40.00 per playerThe maximum registration fee per family is $150.00.
Volunteers Needed: We are looking for parents/guardians to volunteer – as coaches, assistant coaches, help with fundraising activities, assist with occasional field maintenance, or write articles about your child’s team for the newspaper. There is a section on the Registration Form to sign-up as a volunteer. Your participation is very much appreciated!
