Dedham Girls Softball League - Summer League 2024 Tryouts!!!

Summer league is a competitive softball season beginning mid-June through the end of July in which girls play in various weekend tournaments as well as the Hockomock Girls Summer Softball League. Roster space is limited and a full commitment is expected.  Teams will practice indoors throughout late fall/winter and continue through spring.    

 

Tryouts will be held for 10U, 12U and 14U.  Please note that, in accordance to new rules from USA softball, the age of the child on September 1, 2023 will determine which age group she will play in for summer 2024.

 

10U tryouts - 3:30pm to 5pm at Sugrue Field

14U tryouts - 5pm to 6pm at Sugrue Field

12U tryouts - 6pm to 7pm **location TBD

To ensure a successful tryout session, please drop your child off a few minutes before the start of the session and come back at end time to pick her up.  She will need a glove, face shield, bat and helmet.
